Applications will be accepted August 7 through August 28, 2026.
Only one pre-application may be submitted per household. All pre-applications must be received by the deadline.

Basic Qualification Criteria
Households must meet all applicable program, income, occupancy, and financing requirements.
2026 Household Income Limits
The Point Martin BMR homes are available to eligible households earning no more than 120% of the San Mateo County Area Median Income.

Income eligibility is based on the combined gross income of all household members. Asset income and other applicable income sources may also be included.
Daly City Preference Point
An eligible household may receive a maximum of one preference point if at least one household member currently:
- Maintains their primary residence within the City of Daly City;
- Works for wages or salary within the City of Daly City; or
- Owns or operates a business within the City of Daly City.
Receiving a preference point does not guarantee selection. All preference claims must be verified.
What Happens After the Lottery?
The lottery establishes the order in which pre-applications will be reviewed. It does not determine final eligibility or guarantee the purchase of a home.
- Eligible pre-applications will receive a lottery ranking.
- Applicants will be contacted in ranking order as homes become available for eligibility review.
- Households selected to continue will be asked to submit supporting documentation verifying income, assets, preference eligibility, financing, and other program requirements.
Previous Point Martin Lottery — February 2026
The previous Point Martin pre-application period is closed. A lottery was held on February 10, 2026, to establish applicant ranking positions for that application period.
Applicants who participated in the February opportunity should refer to the notices previously provided by Rise Housing Solutions for their lottery results and next steps.
