How do I join the waitlist?

The 2025 City of Alameda BMR Ownership Waitlist is open year round; however, an initial lottery will take place on June 12, 2025. There are three waitlists available: 1) Very Low-Income Waitlist, for households earning less than 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) 2) Low-Income Waitlist, for households earning less than 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), 2) Moderate-Income Waitlist, for households earning less than 120% of the Area Median Income (AMI). If you believe your family qualifies for all three income brackets, please submit a separate application for each income bracket. Households who apply after the initial lottery will be placed at the end of their respective income and preference category.

Is there any update on the waitlist?

Rise Housing Solutions will contact waitlist members in ranking order as homes become available. Waitlist members will retain their position for the entire year they applied.
